Visitor Tips

  • Bag Restrictions - Due to security reasons, NO purses, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, camera bags, luggage or other items that provide concealment are allowed in the Visitor Center. Please do not leave valuable items in your vehicles. Bag storage is available at the entrance of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center for a fee of $5.00 per bag. Visitors should bring in their wallets, cameras (no large camera bags are allowed), cellular phones, and water bottles. Baby carriages and wheel chairs are also permitted.
  • Pearl Harbor Historic Site Ticket Booth - Admission to the USS Bowfin Submarine, USS Missouri Battleship, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, Half Day Pearl Harbor Tours and for the Passport to Pearl Harbor Tours can be purchased at the Pearl Harbor Historic Site Ticket Booth, which is located in the courtyard of the Visitor Center.

  • Passport to Pearl Harbor - Pacific Historic Parks and the National Park Service are proud to be participants in the Passport to Pearl Harbor program offered by the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Partners.   • Adult Groups going to the USS Arizona Memorial – Pacific Historic Parks offers a large section of group programs at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center that include welcome bags for delegates, personalized name US Military Dog Tags and in-room gifts.   • Student Groups going to the USS Arizona Memorial- Free movie/boat tickets are available for student groups, reservations can be made up to one year before arrival, please email valr_education@nps.gov. Pacific Historic Parks offers a large selection of student group programs at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center that include 50% off the USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tours and admission to the new Pearl Harbor Virtual Reality Center.   • Getting There - Visit by taxi, tour, Pearl Harbor Express Shuttle or by private vehicle. The public transit service is also available to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, for more information call "The Bus", at 808-848-5555.
  • Driving Directions for Waikiki - Take the H-1 West. Continue past the Honolulu International Airport. Take the Stadium / Arizona Memorial Exit 15A. Turn left at the 4th traffic light onto 1 Arizona Memorial Place, Honolulu, 96818.
  • Driving Directions from Ko'Olina and North Shore - Take H-2 to H-1 merge. Take H-1 towards Honolulu, then exit on 13A, and take Aiea exit. Take Pearl Harbor exit to Kamehameha Hwy. Make a right at the 2nd traffic light at 1 Arizona Memorial Place, Honolulu, 96818.
